Membership in NERC is open to all companies that
1) have operations based within the geographic scope of the OFCCP’s Northeast Region and
2) are considered Federal Contractors under the compliance authority of the OFCCP or produce voluntary affirmative action programs.
Membership is limited to one Primary representative and one or more alternates per company.
Throughout its history, NERC has cultivated and maintained a healthy, supportive environment that balances confidentiality, positive government agency relations and open knowledge sharing among industry and government thought leaders by restricting its membership to corporate level federal contractor professionals who manage the AA/EEO and diversity functions for their companies and by limiting the role of any consultant to being subject matter experts who are not soliciting business as a service provider from our membership. Consultants, including individual practitioners and organizations, are not eligible to become members of NERC.
The company’s Primary representative typically is a leader who represents the AA/EEO, Diversity and Inclusion, or other related human resources, government contracting or risk-management functions for their company’s Headquarters office. The Primary representative or their designated alternate will be able to vote on NERC matters.
Annual dues to maintain membership are currently $495 and will be assessed at the end of each calendar year. New members will be assessed the full annual dues amount when they join.
If you were a primary or alternate representative for your company and are now “in transition”, you may be eligible to continue to attend NERC meetings as a non-voting member. For more information please use the Contact us form.
